I wanna print the documents using my laptop

Windows

Printer Driver Download

  1. You need to use your student ID and password. Prepare them.

  2. Please choose the printers from these links, then you can download the install batches as zip file.

      1. Computer Room 1

      2. Computer Room 2

      3. Computer Room 3

      4. Computer Room 4 (2 printers)

      5. Library (1st Floor)

      6. Library (2nd Floor, 2 printers)

      7. MEIPL (Mie Environmental & Informational Platform)

  3. Right click the downloaded file and select "Extract All...".

  4. Open the extracted folder.

Driver Installation & Printer Registration

  1. Double click "IPP_***.bat".

  2. If "Windows Defender Smart Screen" appears, you should click "More Info" and then "Run".

  3. If "User Account Control" pops up to your screen, click "Yes".

  4. Then, the printer setup window will appear and the installation process will begin.

  5. Input prompt will appear. Please input user ID and password.

    • NOTE: You have to input user information like below.

          • User ID: "elan\[Your student ID]"

          • Password: "[Your password]"

    • NOTE: If you chose Computer Room 4 or Library (2nd Floor), you should do the process #7 ~ #9 twice.

  6. That is all of the installation process.


NOTE: If you are in trouble, please go to "Center for Information Technologies and Networks" or "MEIPL Support Desk".


Mac

Printer Driver Installation

  1. Go to RICOH official web site.

  2. Select your Mac OS.

  3. Download "PPDインストーラーVer.***".

  4. Double click the downloaded printer driver installer.

Printer Registration

  1. You need to use your student ID and password. Prepare them.

  2. Download "printer.command".

  3. Double click the downloaded file to unzip it.

  4. Click while you press the "control" key. Then, terminal window will open.

  5. Enter your student ID.

  6. Enter your password.

    • NOTE: If your password includes "@", you have to input "%40" instead of "@".

    • NOTE: Even if you have entered wrong student ID or password, the installation process will be finished. So please retry registration process with your correct ID and password when you cannot print the documents.

  7. Wait until "...completed." is shown in your terminal.

  8. That is all of the registration process.
